ASHRAE President Bill McQuade has created an Indoor Environmental Quality and Decarbonization grant to select Chapter Sustainability projects. And guess what, we won $10,000 last year!

We have partnered again with  inCommon Community Development (https://incommoncd.org/). Since starting the partnership, the Nebraska Chapter has secured over $100,000 in energy related grants through ASHRAE and OPPD to fund window replacements in one of their facilities and solar panels for a low-income housing project currently under construction.

This is all super awesome, but there’s still a lot of areas we can help. This year our goal is to fund window replacements on a different inCommon facility and convert their outdated fluorescent lighting to LED.

The $10,000 grant will go a long way, but it’s not enough. Our goal is to match the grant and raise an additional $10,000. The Chapter will match donations up to our goal for donations made before the end of 2025! If you or your company would like to donate to the project, it would be awesome! All funds will go directly to inCommon in support of this project.
