Thermal Imaging Technology - HVAC and Beyond with Doug Hampton
Zoom Meeting, Link provided upon registration and payment
Tuesday, January 26th; presentation starts at 12:00 p.m.
Heat transfer is all around us. In HVAC, the transfer of heat is core to the business. However, heat transfer is not exclusive to HVAC. It can be a factor in electrical infrastructure, roofing, the auto industry, manufacturing…. The list goes on. Using easily attainable technology to decode the emissions of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR), we can see heat transfer with our own eyes! This presentation briefly dives into the vast world of Thermal Imaging. We will discuss the basic science of the technology as well as a few examples of how to use it. If we are to use the tools effectively, we must have a basic understanding of the science.
