ASHRAE 62.1 Ventilation Rate Procedure with Alex Skillman

This presentation will cover the ASHRAE 62.1 Ventilation Rate Procedure with a focus on multi-zone recirculating systems. Topics covered will include commonly misunderstood or misapplied terminology, calculation process and recommendations, supporting tool availability, and a brief discussion of LEED credit impacts.

Alex Skillman is a registered mechanical engineer, certified energy manager (CEM), and certified ASHRAE building energy assessment professional (BEAP). Previously, he was a mechanical systems designer at a multinational full-service design firm, where he was primarily involved in design of healthcare facilities, including system design, equipment selection, and ventilation calculations. At Energy Studio, he is responsible for project management and providing energy modeling analysis for clients. He has augmented his engineering experience with a graduate business degree focusing on sustainability.
