Test, Adjust, & Balance: What It Is & What It Is Not, From The Balancer's Eyes with Rick Blackledge

The presentation will be an interactive discussion on what is important in producing a quality Test & Balance report.


Rick started with Waldinger as a mechanical department intern in November of 1987. He was hired full-time in December the following year as a Sheet Metal Department Project Engineer after graduating from NU with a degree in Engineering Technology. Rick passed the NEBB Professional Exam in March of 1997 to become a certified to perform testing and balancing of air and hydronic systems. In 2000, he passed the NEBB Building Systems Commissioning Professional Exam to become certified to perform building commissioning. Rick transferred to the Service department in 2008. In his free time, Rick enjoys restoring cars and water sports.
