Jake manages unique building management solutions across the Midwest, United States. These projects vary from one of the largest LEED Platinum projects in the United States with integrations to over 30 unique systems, multi-million square feet regulated pharmaceutical plants meeting CGMP requirements, data centers, high rise buildings, and large-scale zoological life support systems and aquatic projects. In addition to his responsibilities in his job with a Building Management Solutions provider, he is also heavily involved with ASHRAE. He is going into his second 3-year term on ASHRAE Standard 135 "aka BACnet", which is the committee that created and maintains BACnet. He is also involved with several other chapter and society level positions.
